Changelog
Every release, in plain words.
What changed in ScanLyte and why. Newest first.
1.0.8
SEPTEMBER 2026- Bill radar (Starter): scan a bill and ScanLyte spots the due date and amount. One tap sets a reminder that arrives before it's late, even while the app is open. A "Bills due" card in the library keeps anything due within three days in view.
- Contract red flags (Pro): marks the clauses worth pushing back on, right on the page, each with the question to ask. Offered only on contracts whose text carries clauses that usually deserve one.
- Hide areas, now with Erase (Pro): black out a name, or erase it so the page closes up as if it was never there.
- Yearly plans at 33% off, each starting with a 7-day free trial and a reminder two days before it ends.
- The free tier now includes 2 Instant Explanations a month.
- A redesigned upgrade screen that names the feature you tapped, a Rate and Feedback row in Settings, and a "Restore purchases" row when you're signed out of a plan.
- Fixes: a dark-mode flash after saving a watermark or redacted copy, amounts with thousands separators not enabling the expense prompt, and a slow, flickering expense prompt after scanning.
1.0.7
AUGUST 2026- Expense tracking (Pro): confirm a receipt's total and ScanLyte files it as an expense; export an accountant-ready PDF or CSV by date range, grouped by category or client (Business).
- Dark mode across the app.
- Bulgarian added; ScanLyte now speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Bulgarian.
1.0.6
JUNE 2026- Shrink & share for email (Starter): compress a large PDF to email size at the moment you share it.
- Fill & sign (Starter): tap to place text, dates, checks, and your signature on any form.
1.0.5
JUNE 2026- Hide areas (Pro): draw a rectangle or freeform shape over anything on a document and save a redacted copy.
1.0.4
MAY 2026- Privacy Passport (Pro): keep passports, licenses, and cards encrypted on the phone and generate redacted copies for hotels, rentals, or age checks.
1.0.3
MAY 2026- Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French.
- Folders and categories split; auto-sort by category (Pro).
